Introduction

This recipe is usually made with a beef roast, but used a venison roast and it is still one of the very best roasts I have ever eaten! This recipe is usually made with a beef roast, but used a venison roast and it is still one of the very best roasts I have ever eaten!

Ingredients

    2-3 lb. roast, venison
    1 packet Pioneer Brand Brown Gravy Mix
    1 packet Ranch Dip, Dressing, & Recipe Mix
    6 Peperoncini
    1 stick Butter, unsalted

Directions

Put the roast into the crockpot. Combine the gravy mix and ranch mix and pour on top of the roast. Place 6 peperoncini peppers around and on the roast. Lay a stick of unsalted butter on top of the roast. Do NOT add any liquid if you are using beef. If using venison, a quarter cup of water may be added.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Prepare to be transported to a new taste level!
