Introduction

Ingredients

    1 kilo small plum tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
    Olive oil in a sprayer
    Salt, sugar, dried garlic, chillipowder and thyme - pounded in mortar and pestle - I always make 1 tablespoon of salt and sugar, a pinch of dried garlic and chillipowder and 1 teaspoon of thyme - but you do not need all - it last for 3 kilos of the tomatoes

Tips

We eat it
- on cheese
- vegan cheese
- on risotto
- over noodles

and my daughter as a snack without anything!


Directions

wash the tomatoes and slice them in half.
Take 2 baking trays, bakingpaper and place the sliced tomatoes tight with the skin down on the baking paper.
Make sure the smaller ones are in the middle and the bigger tomatoes are on the outside. Cause otherwise the tomatoes on the outside will burn while on the inside they are still to wet.

Sprinkle the seasoning over the tomatoes and spray just a bit over the tomatoes. Its normally less than a teaspoon

Oven on 140°C - for around 100 minutes - to 120 minutes, depends on your oven.

The tomatoes are not totally dry, they still are a bit wet inside.
If they need a bit more time, you can simple check it: try one - if they are a bit spicy and sweet, they are right. If they seem to need more spices - they need more time in the oven!

use it within 1 week
