It looks good. I wasn't sure if the beans in the crock pot had been pre-soaked prior to the 4-5 hours on high, or if 4-5 hours on high in crock pot was sufficient for washed and sorted beans right out of the bag. I like the recipe. I might try to add "J&D's" brand bacon salt (which is low sodium)
Thanks for the recipe, I've been making it completely wrong! This will be much simpler, I make it vegan and save on the calories/fat by using Chipotle, it gives it that smoky flavor. Chipotle tabasco is even better :)
