Ingredients

    2 16-oz packages green split peas
    4 cloves garlic
    2 medium onions
    6 medium carrots
    8 cups chicken stock
    8 cups water
    left over ham bone, but not meat added

Directions

dice veges, add peas, water, chicken stock or broth, and ham bone. boil, then simmer 2 hours or until peas are soft. Remove ham bone, do not add meat to soup. Puree soup with immersion blender.
