Introduction
Ice cream made with coconut milk Ice cream made with coconut milkNumber of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
One can of regular coconut milk
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 tbsp SF Chocolate Flavored Torani
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions
mix 1/3 of the coconut milk with the cocoa to dissolve the cocoa powder. Mix until it is completely smooth.
Once the powder has been completely mixed in, mix in the remainder of the coconut milk and other ingredients.
Chill for two hours in the fridge.
Add to the ice cream maker and following the manufacturers instructions.
My machine only takes five minutes to have soft serve - I like to put it in the freezer to harden up slightly.
*serving size: I've had Gastric Bypass Surgery... so my serving size is a very small portion - 1/4 of a cup. Obviously this is what makes this a decent calorie count for ME... however, someone eatting a normal sized portion might get 3-4 servings out of this. NUT info for 3 servings is not that bad either (except the sat. fat count is high) With that said, here is the NUT count for 3 servings:
135 calories
13.5 g fat
11.5 saturated
42.4 mg sodium
7.7 carbs
1.8 g dietary fiber
1.2 g sugar
3 g protein
Number of Servings: 6
