Introduction

Ingredients

    2 sticks butter, softened
    3/4 cups white sugar
    3/4 cups brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 365 degrees.
In a large bowl (I use a stand mixer), cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well in between each addition.
Add vanilla, baking soda and salt and mix well. Add flour gradually and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake for approximately 8-9 minutes for soft, chewy cookies.
