Ingredients

    32 oz Ground beef, lean
    1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 large Onions, raw, chopped
    2 clove Garlic, minced
    1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) Cabbage, fresh, chopped
    2 14.5 oz cans Diced Tomatoes
    1 cup Tomato Sauce
    1/4 cup Tomato Paste
    1/4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    1 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne

Directions

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion and cook, stirring, until ground beef is no longer pink and onion is tender; drain well.
Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.

Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, pepper, salt and cayenne. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, or until cabbage is tender.
