8 oz Orzo, Barilla, uncooked
3 tbsp Butter, salted
1 package (10 oz) Peas, frozen
187 gram(s) Publix Frozen Chopped Spinach (by RIOTGRRLCYNIC)
1.5 cup Beans - Bush's Black Beans Reduced Sodium
6 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
1 tsp Tarragon, ground
1 tsp Thyme, ground
1 tsp Cajun Seasoning (by KARENWP08)
.5 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
.5 tsp Pepper, black
Tips
You can substitute different veggies. Peas and spinach were just what I had on hand.
Directions
In a 4 quart saucepan, combine water and pasta. Cook over medium high heat until mixture comes to a full boil, 4 to 6 minutes. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Stir in frozen vegetables, cover, and reduce heat to medium low. Cook until vegetables are tender crisp, 2 to 4 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain.
Stir in beans, butter or margarine, and spices. Continue cooking until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
