Ingredients

2 cups yellow (or white) cornmeal
2 cups water
2 Tbsp olive oil
Directions
Put cornmeal in a heat resistant bowl. Boil water in a pan. When water is boiling pour into bowl with cornmeal. Mix well.
Let cool a bit then make into patties. While you are making patties heat oil in a pan.
Fry patties until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel.
Makes 12 patties.
