You can decrease the calories of a cake mix by skipping the oil and eggs and substitute a diet soda and one egg whilte. It doesn't taste like you skimped on anything. A very light and fluffy cake. Ingredients

    1 box Reduced Sugar Devil's Food cake mix
    1 egg white
    1 twelve ounce Coca Cola Cherry Zero
    1 can No Sugar Added Cherry pie filling
    Fat Free Cool Whip (for "frosting")

Directions

Combine first three ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir in half of can of cherry pie filling. Bake according to directions on cake box. Cool cake, frost with Cool Whip and spoon remaining cherry pie filling on top.
Makes 12 servings.
