Ingredients

(pastry dough)
5 eggs
2 cup plus 3Tbl. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. butter
(filling)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. 1%milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. sugar
Directions
Put 5 eggs, flour, 1/2 c. sugar, yeast, vanilla, and softened butter in bread maker or mix gently by hand in a volcano style. Let rise 2 hours. Place in fridge overnight. The next day mix milk, eggs and sugar over low heat to incorporate. Gently bring to a light boil stirring all the time. Add vanilla when it is thick and remove from stove. Cool the filling. Roll out dough in a rectangle and cover half with the cream filling. Fold over. Cut into long wide strips. place in a cross fashion on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 25 minutes until brown.
