I needed to make some quick and simple cookies for a funeral, so I made these. These are pretty good, and I did add cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Normally I wouldn't make cookies with a cake mix, but it was nice that I didn't have to put in more sugar than what is already in the ingredients.
Delicious! Really easy to whip up and bake. No measuring needed really. So soft and delicious! I made 72 smaller cookies with this recipe. That's only 40 calories per cookie! Thanks so much for posting this.
Why are these supposedly healthy recipes using box mixes that are full of chemical ingredients and hydrogenated fats???
These are a whole lot higher in calories then this. Just the pumpkin and cake mix made into muffins are 93 calories. With the choc. chips it would bring it even higher.
These are really good! Make sure you mix them up well. They are yummy right out of the oven. Not too "spicy tasting" and not too "pumpkin tasting". They are cake-like, small and easy to get your "sweet fix" with few calories. I made smaller cookies and cut the calories even further to 45 calories.
