These were a HIT with my family - including kids. I made the kids with turkey pepperoni and then for the hubby and I, I cooked up some italian sausage (not too bad calorie), mushrooms, and onions in a skillet. Used that for our filling. I tried it using turkey ham - had the grocer slice it thin like deli slices. Added bell peppers & mushrooms and a teasponful of Ragu sauce inside. Also used low fat cheese or try neufschatel (lowfat cream cheese) instead. Will make again - THANX for this easy & quick recipe. I love calzones! Submitted by:
