Nutrition & Calorie Comments

My son was 11 and made this for his 4-H Foods and Nutrition project last summer. He and my 9 year old daughter love making this for the family.
These were a HIT with my family - including kids. I made the kids with turkey pepperoni and then for the hubby and I, I cooked up some italian sausage (not too bad calorie), mushrooms, and onions in a skillet. Used that for our filling. They were WONDERFUL! I definitely will make these again!
This turned out great! Now that I have made it once, I will definitely make it again, and I have a few ideas for different fillings. I feel like this can be an easy, healthy alternative to Lean Pockets (which have a higher sodium level than I am supposed to have).
This was wonderful! It's very customizable (of course, I know that changes the calorie content). I tried it with red pepper and turkey bacon
My family LOVED it!! Definitely a keeper! And a very versitile recipe- you could add bell pepper, onion, turkey sausage...Anything you'd like as long as you adjust the calories!!
Absolutely yummy, had two of them, and they didnt hurt my nutrition.
I added black olives, mushrooms and fat free cottage cheese to the mix which upped the calories just a little. These baked up beautifully and were delicious! This recipe will become a favorite!
I tried it using turkey ham - had the grocer slice it thin like deli slices. Added bell peppers & mushrooms and a teasponful of Ragu sauce inside. Also used low fat cheese or try neufschatel (lowfat cream cheese) instead. Will make again - THANX for this easy & quick recipe. I love calzones!
I made these with no sugar added ragu sauce. My boyfriend and I loved them!
Yummy!! I used sugar free spaghetti sauce to dip and it was good!
