Ingredients

    8 oz macaroni noodles
    2 cups non fat cottage cheese
    1 cup reduced fat sour cream
    1 large egg
    2 cups low fat cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

preheat oven to 350.

cook macaroni noodles according to directions & drain well.

mix all ingredients. salt & pepper to taste. transfer to greased baking dish. sprinkle with paprika if desired.

bake 30-45 minutes (depending on depth of dish) until set. makes excellent leftovers!

    SO GOOD! I used fat free cottage cheese and fat free sour cream and didn't notice a difference. I added a little garlic powder and some bread crumbs as well. Gave it a little crunch. I will definitely make it again. DELICIOUS!!! - 12/9/10

    This was really tasty :) I liked it with pepper mmmm I put in fat free sour cream and it tasted just fine if you want to take off a few calories or fat - 10/26/08

    This was very delicious! I mixed some broccoli in, added a cup of fat free cheddar to mix in, then used one of the cups of low fat cheddar already mixed in the recipe (it melts better) to sprinkle on the top. I also did fat free sour cream instead of low fat. - 5/30/10
