Introduction

My great aunt's banana bread using apple sauce in place of margerine, splenda in place of sugar, and wheat flour in place of white flour. I like eating it with 1tbsp peanut butter or almond butter spread on top. Ingredients

    1/2 cup english walnuts
    2 plastic containers unsweetened applesauce
    1 cup splenda
    2 cups wheat flour
    3 mashed bananas
    .5 cup egg beaters
    1tsp baking soda
    .5tsp salt
    2tbsp sour milk (milk in glass- add vinegar or lemon juice- let sit for 5 minutes)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350
Sift sugar, flour, soda, and salt together. In seperate bowl mix mashed bananas, applesauce, eggs, and sour milk. Put together and add nuts.
Put in greased pan.
Bake 40 minutes (check by sticking toothpick in the middle, if it comes out clean it's done)
Let cool for 10 minutes.
Cut into 10 pieces.
Enjoy!
