Ingredients

1 cup quinoa (uncooked, rinsed)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup walnuts
Directions
1. Cook quinoa.
2. Mix quinoa, half of the syrup, and half of the nuts in bowl.
3. Lay parchment paper on baking sheet.
4. Spread mixture out on sheet.
5. Top with remaining nuts and syrup.
Bake at 350 for about an hour. Or until desired firmness is reached. Might take a little more for a crunchier version.
Can also be baked in 'cookie' form. Cooking time would vary.
Makes 18 bars.
