Ingredients

    • 4.5 c. Nature's Path Heritage Bites cereal (180 grams)
    • 1/2 c (60 grams) Trader Joe's defatted peanut flour - reconstituted with water, add stevia and salt to taste
    • vanilla extract, chocolate extract (optional)
    • 1/4 c. (@20 grams) cocoa powder - unsweetened

    To top chow:
    • 4 tbs. (@20 grams) cocoa
    • stevia to taste
    • cinnamon

Directions

Mix reconstituted, sweetened PB with cocoa on stove top at low heat, adding more stevia and water to ensure desired consistency and sweetness. You want it sort of thin - melted chocolate consistency. Add extracts once you pull it off the heat.

Add cereal and mix well to coat with PB/cocoa mix.
Place cocoa, stevia and cinnamon into a large bag. Add cereal and shake vigorously to coat pieces well - this just adds a bit more chocolate flavor and sweetness and will help with stickiness.

Store in an airtight container.

Makes 6 servings, @ 3/4 c. each.
