Ingredients
-
2/3 cup unsalted butter
1 cup milk (don’t use skim, but low-fat works)
½ package graham crackers
1 tablespoon brown sugar
5 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/3 cup chocolate chips
¼ cup slivered almonds
1 cup chopped strawberries
Directions
In a medium bowl, melt butter.
Add the milk and the cocoa to the butter and mix them together, blending well.
Break the graham crackers into large pieces. Add with the chocolate chips to the milk mixture.
Mix, but not to a paste (ie. leave cookie chunks).
Pour out the mixture onto parchment paper or wax paper on a sided baking sheet. Spread evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle the almonds and strawberries on the mixture.
Chill in freezer 30 minutes.
Lift the parchment paper from both sides and make a pyramid shape by hand.
Cover all sides with parchment paper and put in the freezer overnight (or for at least 5 hours).
Take out the dessert at least 10 minutes before serving.
Cut it into slices.
Serve cold.
