    1 cup brown basmati rice
    2.5 cups chicken broth or stock
    1 tbsp. butter(optional)
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. paprika(sweet)
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt


Combine rice, butter, and chicken broth in medium sauce pan, covered, bring to a boil. Turn down heat and let simmer, covered, for 50 minutes, stirring once or twice. Add minced garlic, paprika, cumin, pepper and salt to taste. Fluff with a fork and serve!

    THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! brown rice is a little boring to me, but this adds like some FLAVOR! its like spanish rice, but brown lol :) - 6/13/11
