Introduction

Ingredients

    1 slightly tart apple
    1 carrot
    1 tsp apple jelly
    splash of lemon juice
    crystallized ginger to taste

Tips

You don't need much ginger to add some kick, so start with just a little.
For larger crowds, this recipe doubles easily. Just add another apple and small carrot for each four people you want to feed. Then add another tsp of jelly.


Directions

Julienne the apple and the carrot into matchstick sized shreds and combine. Add the apple jelly and lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Grate the crystallized ginger into the mix and toss lightly.
