Ingredients

    Cooking spray
    1 onion, chopped
    1 pkg. Gimme LEAN! Ground beef style
    4 slices whole-wheat bread
    1/2 C soy milk
    1 egg white, lightly beaten
    2 TB Parmesan Cheese
    1/2 Teas garlic powder
    1/2 Teas Dried Basil
    1/4 Teas dried thyme leaves
    1/4 Teas ground pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 and spray an 8x5 loaf pan with cooking spray. Cook the onion in cooking spray until soft, 4-5 min.

In a medium bowl, combine the "meat," onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg white, ketchup, cheese, garlic powder, basil, thyme and pepper; blend well. Shape into loaf and transfer to pan. Bake until cooked through 45-50 minutes.

    First time making this! I added a little twist to it. I used mushrooms instead of onions and morningstar veggie crumbles. So yummy! Will definitely be making it again! - 6/1/11

    Instead of ketchup use tomato sauce or paste. If you like green peppers, add to onion mixture. Bread crumbs are good too. - 3/9/13

    This meatless loaf was delish! I used one whole egg and 1/2 cup of ketchup which probably added some extra calories but still YUM! - 3/27/12

    It was a little bit bland, but great with 1-carb ketchup...and you really can't beat the stats! Super-filling, low calorie, high protein, and no animals killed! THANK YOU! - 12/20/11
