Introduction

Using fat free plain yogurt in place of most of the mayonnaise and sour cream lightens this favorite. Using fat free plain yogurt in place of most of the mayonnaise and sour cream lightens this favorite.

Ingredients

    3/4 cup plain fat free yogurt; greek style or drained
    1/3 cup light mayo or light mayo with olive oil
    1/2 cup light sour cream
    1/4 cup bleu cheese crumbles
    1 large garlic clove; minced or grated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper

Tips

I like to crush some of the bleu cheese crumbles into the yogurt before mixing everything together to release more flavor. You can use all fat free if desired, but I find it becomes too watery after a day or two.


Directions

Mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate covered about 2 hours for full flavor. May add a few drops of lemon or lime juice or white wine vinegar to brighten flavor if desired.
