Introduction

Easy slaw with no fatty mayonnaise. Easy slaw with no fatty mayonnaise.

Ingredients

    • 2 cups Napa cabbage, thinly sliced
    • 1 1/2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
    • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons orange juice
    • 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
    • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root

Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix cabbage with chives.



2. In a small bowl, combine orange juice, marmalade and ginger. Then pour over cabbage.



3. Toss and serve.



Serves 4.

    I love this salad, but had forgotten about it. The only way the marmalade could make it bad tasting is if you used bad tasting marmalade. We love it! - 8/26/09

    The marmalade made this dish very bitter (tasted mostly like rind). We doctored it up with honey, salt & pepper. That improved it but it still wasn't a huge hit at our BBQ. Won't make this one again. - 4/9/07

    Great recipe! To eliminate the pink-ing of red or purple cabbage, just soak cabbage in cold water for 15-20 minutes. (Ditto for radishes.) - 12/3/09

    Don't like sweet coleslaw - I make mine with oil and vinager
    No red cabbage that turns the slaw into an awful PINK. Equal amount of oil and vinager, salt & pepper to taste.My Mom alway called this Greek Slaw We love it!!! great for a diet!!
