Ingredients
-
500 grams Mung beans, mature seeds, sprouted, cooked, boiled
3 serving Garlic (fresh, raw, 1 clove) (by MYWALK4LIFE)
1 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp Trader Joe's Toasted Sesame Oil
Directions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Blanch the sprouts for 1 minute, stirring gently. Strain them and shock in ice water. As you rinse them, shake them under the water so the skins fall into the bowl. Put the cleaned sprouts in a basket and strain well. A salad spinner works VERY well here.
Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Add the sprouts and toss to season evenly.
Transfer them to a serving bowl or plate. Serve warm or cold as a side dish. You can refrigerate them for up to 3 days.
They probably won't last that long.
Serving Size: 4 servings for calorie count. We often use ramekins for sides when eating Korean style (serving 8)
