Ingredients

For the cake:
1-1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 stick butter unsalted
1-1/4 cup sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1. Preheat oven to 350, Lightly oil and flour metal pan 9 x 13 set aside.
2. Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder and salt in medium mixing bowl, set aside.
3. Place butter in bowl of stand mixer, using the paddle attachment beat on medium speed (4) until fluffy, 1 minutes. Decrease speed to low and with the mixer still running gradually add the sugar over 1 min. Stop to scrape down the sides of the bowl if necessary. Add the eggs one at a time, mix thoroughly combine. Add the vanilla and mix to combine. Add the flour mixture to the batter in 3 batches and mix until combined. Transfer batter to pan and spread evenly. This will appear to be a very small amount of batter. Bake on middle rack of oven for 20-25 min. or until cake is lightly golden brown.
4. Remove to cooling rack and let cool 30 min. Poke top of cake all over with a fork. Allow cake to cool completely and then prepare the glaze.
Directions
Glaze:
1 - 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 cup half and half
1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
Whisk together all milks together. Once combined pour the glaze over the cake. Refrigerate overnight.
Topping:
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Whip heavy cream, add sugar and vanilla spread over cake and serve.
