Introduction

I love, love, love this bread! Unfortunately, it's not the lowest in fat, since it's full of flax seed. But you do get the benefits of eating the flax seed, and it really is delicious!

Cooking time really depends on your bread machine, mine takes 3 hours.

This is a very good, hearty bread. I made with the delay start on my BM and it worked out wonderfully. I chose 1.5 lb setting. I love that it tastes healthy. I couldn't wait for it to cool, so I can't wait to try on a sandwhich after the flavors blend even more. Thanks for a great recipe! - 12/15/12

This is really tasty. I knew it would be by the wonderful aroma produced when baking in the bread machine. I didn't used yeast specific for a bread machine, and it worked fine. Thanks for the recipe. - 12/16/09

I added several tablespoons of dried basil for herb bread. It was wonderful! Next time may also add sun dried tomatoes, etc. - 7/12/09
