Ingredients

    3 lbs lean ground chuck
    3 sm cans tomatoes, crushed
    3 medium onions, chopped
    3 cans New Orleans Style Red Kidney Beans
    3 cans water
    3 tsp salt
    6 tablespoons chili powder
    1/2 tsp dry cocoa powder

Directions

Brown ground chuck and rinse under cold water; drain well. Saute onions until translucent. Add ground chuck, tomatoes, beans, water, seasonings and cocoa. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat until reduced by one half (about 2 hrs). Yield: 12 servings.
