To cook it faster, I microwaved the potatoes before slicing them up and putting them in. That made the baking time only 35 minutes! - 2/13/08

I made this for my family and my kids ate it! That is rare. I did use cream of celery instead of mushroom because I was out of cream of mushroom. Will make this again! - 3/22/10

I used to make something similar to this years ago that I had forgotten all about. I used to call it "ham and potato slop" ! I'll have to try it again. - 7/4/13

This one is a keeper. I cooked it one hour covered, and then 30 more minutes uncovered to brown the top. Quick prep, and the whole family loved it. - 5/28/13

Just made this for dinner and it was delicious! Grown ups and kids loved it. After an hour, the potatoes were still a little crisp so I put some foil over the top and baked for about 10 more minutes. But then it was a little soupier than I wanted it. Think I will try the microwave trick. - 6/28/11
