Ingredients

Chicken drumstick, skinned and scored, 1lb
Chicken breast, skinned & cut in 2" cubes, 1 lb
Onions, chopped, 1 cup
Garlic cloves, chopped, 5
Ginger root, chopped, 1tsp
Serrano peppers, sliced in half, 2
Canola oil, 3 tbsp
Salt, 1tbsp or to taste
Pepper powder, Black, 1tbsp
Tumeric, 1 tsp
Cilantro, chopped 1tbsp
Directions
Makes 8 servings
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the onions. Fry onions till they turn brown and then add serrano peppers. Fry the peppers for a minute, add chopped ginger and garlic. Fry this for another minute. Now add the turmeric, stir and add the chicken pieces. Mix and fry the chicken , stirring continuously, for 5-10 minutes, until the chicken is no longer raw. Sprinkle salt and pepper powder, mix well and add 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 10minutes. Uncover , mix and cook for another 5 minutes until most of the water evaporates. Spinkle with chopped cilantro and serve with rice or paratha
