2.25 C Unsifted All Purpose Flour
1 Tbsp. Baking Soda
1/2 C unsalted butter
1/2 C applesauce
1/4 C granulated sugar
3/4 C light brown sugar, packed
1 pkg, (3.9 oz) Jello Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 12 oz. pkg Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips
1 C chopped nuts (optional) not used in these calculations
Directions
Mix flour with baking soda. combine butter, sugars, applesauce, pudding mix, and vanilla in large mixer bowl.; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff! Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen. (I got 75 cookies out of it)
