Ingredients

    1 tbs bacon grease
    2 medium onions coarsley chopped
    6 ounces cooked venison sausage no fat added
    3 celery stalks coarsley chopped
    2 tbs minced garlic
    2 carrots peeled and diced
    3 cups diced raw yukon gold potatoes w skin (aprox 4 potatoes)
    1-14.75 ounce canned pink salmon with juice and bones
    2-cans fat free evaporated milk
    16 ounces water

Directions

In 5 quart pan add bacon, heat until med hot; add onions and sautee until tender, add the following ingredients and sautee on medium heat; celery, garlic, carrots, and potatoes. cook on medium low heat for aproximately ten minutes. add venison sausage and juice from salmon; cook for aproximately five minutes. add salmon, milk and water. simmer for 40 minutes. add salt and pepper to taste
