Introduction

Yummy custard that's definitely worth the wait! Yummy custard that's definitely worth the wait!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/3 cup egg whites, either substitute or fresh
1/3 cup nonfat or soy milk
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3 packages artificial sweetener
    pinch nutmeg

Directions

***Makes 1 serving***
1. In a one-cup size microwavable bowl, combine all ingredients except the nutmeg.
2. Microwave on lowest power setting for 30 minutes (for 1250W oven). Because microwave ovens vary, you may need to experiment with the time to get the custard to set up without curdling.
3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
4. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. (May be eaten warm or chilled.)
5. Enjoy!

    Incredible!
This is excellent and so easy. You do need to test how your microwave works. My lowest setting did nothing but warm up the mixture. When I dialed it up two levels, I could decrease the cooking time. I love being able to cook this in hot weather! - 7/20/11
