Number of Servings: 80

Ingredients

8 oz old cheddar cheese (can use a combination of cheeses)
    2 Tbsp parmesan cheese
1/2 cup soft margarine (Becel is what I use)
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 1/4 c old fashioned dry quaker oats (can use quick oats)
    2 tsp oregano
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    1/2 tsp salt
    3 Tbsp Water
    1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
1 tsp lea and perrins worcestershire sauce
    1/4 cup sesame seeds
    1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

Directions

Put chesses in food processor and break up. Add seeds and flour. Process until seeds are somewhat broken up. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until well incorporated.

You can make this into crackers at this point, or put the dough in the refrig for a couple of days before you bake it.
Remove from fridge and let warm up a bit. Shape dough into small nut size balls (about 80). Spray cookie sheets with pam, flatten each ball with the palm of your hand unitl it is quite thin, and even. You can usually only get 12 on a pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. You want them done so they are crisp...but be careful they burn easily. These are soooo good with whatever. And they never stay around very long.

Tasty. I made these, but mine turned out pretty dense - more like biscuits than crackers. I had a heck of a time finding sesame seeds, so mine missed this ingredient. I made 40, put two in my lunch all week and froze a bunch. I thawed them yesterday and they were good as new. - 11/25/20
