Introduction

Dorothy Lynch is a Midwestern-style sweet French dressing. It is a staple in my family, but their version is high in fat and sugar, so I have been working on a modified version. You can do a fatfree version with no oil and 1 cup water, but I prefer the texture of a little bit of oil.

It tastes better to use white vinegar, but I use Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar.

    Good
I think the tablespoon of celery seed should be a tsp., otherwise its pretty good. I left the water out completely and still like the consistency. - 3/20/15
