Thrive Toasted Apple Cinnamon Cereal

Introduction

My sister and I have made this recipe several times and love it!!! It is more like a granola than a cereal, but that is the way it is meant to be. Not only is it delicious but the calories are pretty low for a granola. Does not taste like diet food at all. Yumm My sister and I have made this recipe several times and love it!!! Ingredients

    1/2 apple, diced
    1 cup oats
    1/2 cup diced almonds
    1/2 cup ground flaxseed
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup unhulled sesame seeds
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/4 tsp ground stevia leaf
    1/4 tsp sea salt
    1/4 cup hemp oil
    1/4 cup molasses
    2 tbsp apple juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 250

Combine apple, oats, ground flaxseed, hemp flour, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia, and sea salt. Blend together Hemp oil, molasses, and apple juice. Combine liquid and dry ingredients, mixing well.

Spread on a baking tray lightly oiled coconut oil. Bake for 1 hour. Let cool, then break into pieces.

Makes 12 servings. A serving is 1/2 cup.
