Introduction

I have made this recipe for as long as I can remember. It is super easy and super tasty.

I cook mine in a 9" cast iron skillet but any 8-9" baking dish will work.

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup self rising cornmeal
    1/2 cup flour
    1/4 cup milk
    1 can creamed corn

Directions

Mix all ingredients. Pour into lightly sprayed pan. Bake at 400° for 30 min until browned.

If you do not have self rising corn meal just put 1 tablespoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in the bottom of a 1 cup measure and fill with corn meal.
