These are homemade cookies using the recipe on the Nestle chocolate chip bag but slightly altered as I replace half of the margerine with shortening.

Single batch to make 40 cookies - for nutritional count purposes

This is the original toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe from a package of Nestle semi-sweet morsels ~ I made a couple changes to reflect the specific shortening and nuts I use.

The original Toll House favorite cut down to a quarter of a batch.

I add cocoa powder to the batter to make them chocolate, chocolate chip.

I add 1/2 C extra flour into double batch recipe. I also use slightly less than the 4 cups chips.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
