Nutrition & Calorie Comments

So, far best healthy oatmeal cookie I have found! My altercations... used 1/4 cup butter & added 1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce, 2 eggs, subbed Splenda brown sugar, I used 1.5c wheat flour and .5c vanilla protein powder and did not add the oat bran. added unsweetened coconut and walnuts. YUMMM
I substitued both sugars for 3/4 c. honey, used 1/2 c. applesauce instead of any butter, and used wheat germ instead of bran. I did use 1/3 c. chocolate chips - my kids loved them!
I agree that these are the best banana oatmeal cookies! I left out the salt, added extra oatmeal and substituted raisins for chocolate chips and they are excellent! Soft, fluffy, came right off the parchment paper. Tasty!
I made this with natreen liquid (about 2 tsps) instead of sugar and they turned out great!
Very good I replaced the sugars with splenda and added some cranberries and did not add the oat bran and wheat bran
They were good but not too sweet. Rather cakey for cookies, also, it makes more than 16 cookies, so the calories would be slightly lower. Good option for dessert to sneak in some fiber.
sounds like a good cookie but would not use up 200 calories on just one cookie.
207 calories per cookie? Certainly is high....I think I'll try cutting that down by using splendra and smartbeat margarine. The flaxseed is a great idea though.
fantastic! I had people over at the last minute, and they loved these. I used flax seed instead of oat for more fiber. Just like banana nut bread.
Is this 207.9 calories for just 1 cookie? Definately want to try baking some. they sound lovely.
Thanks
