Ingredients

    2/3 cup whole wheat spaghetti
    5 oz shrimp, cooked
    1 cup red peppers, sliced
    1 tsp black pepper
    2 cloves fresh garlic, thinly sliced
    3 leaves fresh basil
    1 tsp olive oil
    2 tbsp dry white wine

Directions

Cook spaghetti al dente.
Saute pepper and garlic in white wine (or substitute with 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar) over medium heat until barely soft, lower heat, add shrimp and saute until done.
Salt (very little) to taste.
Pour sauce over spaghetti, sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper, drizzle with olive oil, and arrange the basil leaves on top.
