Ingredients

1/2 lb mushrooms, fresh
1/2 cup onion
1 lb chicken pieces
1 tsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups water
3/4 cup rice, uncooked
Directions
Slice mushrooms.
Remove skin from chicken.
Spray 12" skillet with nonstick spray coating.
Brown mushrooms, onion, and chicken pieces on all sides over medium heat about 15 minutes.
Stir in seasonings and transfer to the slow cooker (can be refrigerated overnight).
Start slow cooker on LOW.
When ingredients are heated, add rice.
Cook until done.

I substitued Mrs. Dash and seasoned salt since I didn't have the poultry seasoning. It was awesome! I added a bell pepper and several carrots. I cooked for about 4 hours on high and it was perfect. I used boneless chicken breasts and have enough leftovers for at least 2 more meals. Family loved! - 1/6/08

This was good. I would of added some more seasonings, next time. I added the green peppers, potatoes, and carrots...someone esle suggested. My boys who are picky "right now" did not like it...but my husband and myself said with some more changes...it would be a little better...for our taste. - 1/8/08
