Ingredients

    Tilapia filets, about 3 large
    lemon juice---2 tbsp
    olive oil--3 tbs
    garlic, 3 cloves, diced
    bread crumbs, 1/2 cup

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 400
put olive oil in frying pan over medium heat
Add 3 diced cloves garlic, saute for 2 minutes
add lemon juice and bread crumbs, toss and remove from heat

Treat baking/casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray
Place tilapia filets in casserole dish side by side
in treated baking dish
Put bread crumb mixture evenly over all fish
bake at 400 degrees uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until fish is done
Can tell fish is done when it flakes easily

Serves 6

    This was great! I substituted low-fat garlic croutons (ground finely) for the bread crumbs, which also took the place of garlic (which I didn't have at the time). I also added a little chopped cilantro. Fantastic, and so easy! - 8/11/08

    very tasty, i used bread cubes from high fiber bread instead of the bread crumbs. i served it with pasta tossed with olive oil, garlic and tomatoes. yummy. - 3/15/08
