Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 oz lamb, goat , or pork - cubed
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    4 medium potatoes, sliced, with skin
    1 c. peas
    1/2 tsp each:
    rosemary
    garlic
    basil
    salt

Directions

Place all ingredients except peas in crock pot - cook on med. high 4-6 hours or until meat is done. Add peas during last hour of cooking.

Serve with a crusty bread for a hearty filling meal.

    Any kind of veggies would do. Added in some stock (beef - unsalted) so there was enough liquid in the crock pot. - 4/24/18

    This really had a wonderful taste to it. I sautee the lamb with a little paprika and a chopped onion before adding it to the crock pot, just for additional flavor. - 12/8/09

    Incredible!
    Going to make this for dinner tomorrow! I've got a freezer with two lambs in it and was looking for something a little different to do.

    It was delicious and very simple to make, I served it over a tiny bit of egg noodles.
