Number of Servings: 5
Ingredients
-
1 Package Jennie-O Brats
2 Large Colored Bell Peppers
1 Medium Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic (peeled)
1 Jalapeno Pepper
2.5 Cups of Wheat Pasta
Directions
This dish makes five servings. I use half a cup of pasta, one brat link, and add the other ingredients.
Boil water for the pasta, once boiled add pasta and cook accordingly.
Cook the package of brats on Medium Heat in a Skillet or Frying pan. Coat the pan with Pam cooking oil.
While the Brats are cooking cut up the Onions/Peppers into large chunks and set aside. Slice the Jalapenos and Garlic also.
When the Brats are halfway done cooking, add in the garlic and onions. Once the Brats are close to being done add in the peppers until they are cooked, but still crisp. Mixe everything together. Do not over cook.
On Plate: Take 0.5 cup of pasta, one brat link (cut up into bit size pieces) and mixture of peppers/onion. Sprinkle a bit of Parmasan cheese for taste.
Enjoy!

Think this is great and easy. love it at my house. modified the cooking a bit. i brown the sausage, then take it out and slice, then put it back in to finish cooking with the garlic onion and peppers. add pasta and ladle of pasta water when done and heat together. love this meal. - 10/22/08

That works good too... I just like that option of no sauce and all the good flavors.
