Fantastic! We had this in WW tortillas with mixed greens, diced avocado, and goat cheese crumbles. I used half the amount of salt, half the cayenne (for hubby), and added 1/8 tsp each cumin and chili powder. WIsh I had leftovers! - 1/13/09

I made this with 1lb. mahi mahi instead of shrimp and made it into fish tacos by putting them in flour tortillas and serving them with lettuce, tomato, and lite sour cream. They were so flavorful!! Everyone loved them at my dinner party! Oh, I also replaced cayenne w/ red pepper flakes. YUM!! - 5/2/10

This was completely amazing! Easy and fast. I would make one note that you MUST have all ingredients ready to be put in the pan when you start. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I served it with a side of brown rice and sweet peas. - 4/13/10

Oh yum! I made this for shrimp tacos (on white corn torts with spinach) and it was fabulous. I made some extra shrimp too just for recipe inclusions - great on salad, mixed with pasta, or in an omelette or scramble. - 5/17/10

These shrimp were great and soooo easy! :)I had the shrimp on crunchy taco shells with lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and a little bit of 2% shredded cheese with salsa verde on top. On the side I made a mixture of corn, black beans, lime juice, and cilantro.YUM! I will DEFINITELY be making this again!!! - 2/1/10

Delicious! I minced some onion, added fresh chopped parsley and fresh chopped thyme. Omitted the salt and used a little Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning plus the cayenne in the recipe. I did use Emeril's method of sprinkling the shrimp with dry spices a few minutes before sautéeing - 4/10/08

This was SOOO good. I marinated the shrimp in all ingredients except the olive oil for 1 hour. Served on whole wheat tortillas with a homemade salsa. Thumbs up from the entire household. I'm definitely going to make a big batch of the seasoning ahead of time so that I can make this dish regularly. - 8/19/09

Great tasting, even my husband liked it, and he doesn't like anything to hot. I did use less salt, and pre-cooked, extra large shrimp, so didn't use 36 of them. A serving is about 7. Will definitely make again. - 1/25/12

I have made this recipe countless times - its one of my favorite recipes now. I agree with others that its pretty spicy - so just be sure to scale back on the cayenne if you don't like it so spicy. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! - 11/27/09

This is SO good! I cut the cayenne pepper down to 1/8 and it's still spicy but I love it! I also add the seasoning in at the end after the shrimp is cooked, because I pull my toddler's out right before the seasoning, turns out great! Wonderful recipe, we've already made it 3 times!! Thanks! - 4/12/10

Okay...admittedly I added WAY TOO MUCH cayenne pepper & these were REALLY spicy...but I still loved them. We had spinach salad on the side, and they topped the salad nicely--which also helped to tame down the spice. I did really enjoy them, but didn't serve them to the kids. Thanks! - 4/14/09

For how quick and easy this recipe is, it really packs in the flavor!! As someone else mentioned, it's easy to make a bigger batch of the seasoning and save in a cupboard. I ommitted the salt and used chili powder instead of cayenne pepper. Served with asparagus spears and cherry tomatoes.Yummy!!! - 1/3/09

I would recommend inputting each ingredient separately to get a more accurate calorie count. Also cut the cayenne in half. The mix of the cayenne and garlic made both my boyfriend and I very gassy and bloated. Not a good pre-work out meal. I will try again, but cut down on the cayenne. Very Tasty! - 2/27/08

This was really yummy. And the most important thing here is not how we change/modify the ingredients - just have all of these completely ready by the time you commence cooking.
Prawns cook fast and if you're looking for an ingredient at the time of cooking, those prawns will get over-cooked.

The calorie count on this recipe is way off as written. Large shrimp are 31-35 shrimp/lb per industry chart. A lb of shrimp = 450 calories. Two servings = 18 shrimp each = 225 cal. Calorie details list 98 cal. The recipe is probably supposed to be 4 servings. - 2/23/19
