OMG! I tried this tonight and the whole family loved it, and believe me, they are a picky bunch! My youngest daughter immediately got out the ketchup, as both girls and hubby eat it with EVERYTHING! Well, guess what? No one use the ketchup and everyone wanted seconds! I baked in the oven at 400. - 3/18/08

I made this last night. I didn't realize that you had to grill the chops. I pan-fryed them and it was really good. My porkchops were very thin so it took the flavor of the marinade very well. I enjoyed it and so did my kids. I will definitely make this again. - 4/9/09

I marinated the country pork chops for two days in a ziplock bag in the fridge. Then I removed the pork from the bag, placed in my slow cooker and made some fresh marinade to pour over the pork. Cooked it all day on low and that evening had it over rice. Delicious. - 6/27/10

Had this last night, though I allowed the pork chops to marinade for 24 hours. baked them in the oven for 40 mins at 375F. My mom who isn't a fan of new things loved them, though next time I'll top them with some fresh cracked pepper. This is going in my home made cook book for sure!! - 5/6/10

Made this for dinner tonight and the family loved it! Even my picky daughter thought it was wonderful. I baked the chops in the sauce, as others have suggested and my family used the sauce from the pan over their rice and vegetables. Will use cornstarch next time to thicken the sauce. Tasty! - 9/2/08

This was very good. I pan fried the pork chops a bit to brown them then baked them in the oven with the sauce on top, when they were done I put the sauce in a pan and reduced it then poured it over the chops and also the brown rice. I will make this again :) - 2/1/10

My boyfriend and I made these last night and they were super duper tasty!! After the pork chops were done, we took them out of the frying pan (didn't use a grill), added some pineapple rings to the leftover sauce, sauteed them up then added the pork back in. Served it over rice~ Yum yum yum!! - 1/6/10

I did not have soy sauce, but subsituted Worstershire sauce, and marinated them for about an hour. Too cold to grill out, so I used other comment suggestions, and baked them, 375 for 40 minutes. Residual marinade thickened with cornstarch to make gravy. Husband liked them too - 12/12/10

My family really liked this. I baked it as suggested instead of grilling but would love to try on the grill. Will marinate it longer next time at least 2-3 hours instead of 20 minutes. Used Worsteshire sauce instead of soy sauce because that's what I had. Next time will make with Soy Sauce. - 2/5/11

This was the first recipe from this site I ever tried, and to this day it remains a favorite. I cook the chops on the stove as others have suggested. This usually works great, except it can be tricky trying to get them done but not overcooked. Usually served with brown rice and broccoli. Delicious! - 4/25/13

I made this last night & hubby and I loved it. I added baby portabella mushrooms, diced apples, backed off a tad on the soy sauce and used minced garlic instead of cloves since that is all I had .. I also used a dusting of splenda brown sugar and drizzled sugar- free honey over the top! YUM! - 10/19/11
