Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 cups oatmeal
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup brown sugar (light)
    1/3 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
    2 tsp vanilla
    3 egg whites
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3/4 cup cranberries (chopped)
    1/4 chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray.

In large bowl, mix oatmeal, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

In medium bowl, mix brown sugar, applesauce, egg whites and vanilla until smooth.

Gradually fold in mix from large bowl until well blended.

Fold in cranberries, walnuts and chocolate chips.

Place mixture onto cookie sheet in tablespoon sized drops.

Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool on wire rack.
