Introduction

We like eating this at passover but also just any time. We like eating this at passover but also just any time.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    2 Tbs Olive Oil
    1 C Onion chopped
    3 carrots chopped
    3/4 tsp marjoram
    3/4 tsp thyme
    7 C chicken broth
    1 C lentils
    1 C barley
    1/2 C split peas
    1/2 tsp salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp pepper
    2 Tbs dried parsley

Directions

Saute onion, carrots, marjoram & thyme until soft. Combine in large pot with chicken broth, lentils, barley and split peas. Cover and simmer 50 min. Add salt, pepper and parsley and simmer another 10 minutes.
