Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Ingredients
    2 Red delicious apples
    2 Granny smith apples
    2 Banana sliced
    2 Pears - I used 1 Green & 1 Red
2 cups Red or Green grapes
2 small containers Vanilla yogurt -Vanilla Bean flavor works best
    1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
    1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
    1 tsp Nutmeg, ground
    1 tsp Allspice, ground
Single serving packet of apple cider mix
1/2 cup Almonds slivered and toasted

Directions

Wash and core apples and pears, peeling if desired. Cut apples and pears into smallish chunks (I don't care much about uniformity, and the rough cut makes it very rustic). Slice bananas in half lengthwise, and then slice. Wash grapes and cut in half.
Combine fruits and almonds in salad bowl. Mix yogurt with spices and cider. Pour over fruit salad and stir to coat fruits evenly.

Makes approximately 10 - 1/2 cup servings.

I really liked all the fruits combined in this fruit salad although I discovered that it is not as good when you make it ahead of time and it doesn't keep well. - 11/28/07

The cider really makes this salad yummy. I think I might even add an additional packet next time. I agree that it does not keep well as one person mentioned. Even with fruit fresh the bannana turn brown over night. - 11/21/07

    Incredible!
This was awesome. I didn't use bananas, though, and I couldn't find apple cider mix anywhere, so I simply omitted it. It was still great. My husband, who isn't a very healthy eater, even loved it, though he pretended to choke when I said there was yogurt in it ... - 9/16/09
