Ingredients
-
1/2 cup of frozen whole cherries, with the pit removed. (I just bought a bag from safeway that had the pits removed)
1/4 Cup Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla yogurt
5 tsp Now Sport Soy Protein Isolate (basically any protein powder would work, just make sure it's flavorless)
Water
Directions
I fill the blender with water to cover the blades, about half a cup, but you can adjust this based on your blender and the thickness you want.
Then add cherries, & yogurt to blender and blend until smooth
Then add the protein powder *DO NOT PUT PROTEIN POWDER IN FIRST!!! It will thicken and make it so it won't blend into the smoothie
At this point just blend everything unitl it's to a consistency you want by adding more water as needed.
This will make over 12oz, I think it's about 20 but I"m not positive. ( I have a Hamilton single serve blender and it only shows up to 12oz , but fits more)
