Introduction

I like to drink frappuccinos, so I made a morning shake that combines coffee with slim fast powder. The powder gives it a vanilla flavor and makes it more nutritional, while the coffee makes it more like, well, a coffee! It's great! It's just like a frappe, but healthier (vitamins, protein, fiber etc). I like to drink frappuccinos, so I made a morning shake that combines coffee with slim fast powder. Ingredients

    -water (1/3 cup)

    -ice (1 cup)

    -skim milk (1 cup)

-Coffee Via packet (1/2 or a full packet)

-sugar in the raw (either a packet or a teaspoon)

(Vegetarian friendly. Can be made low sugar by omitting sugar and using a low-sugar shake powder. Very versatile--I mix up different variations all the time)

-slim fast french vanilla powder, 1/2 scoop or 1 scoop. The chocolate doesn't taste as good w/coffee.

Directions

Put the ice in the blender. Add the milk. Add the water. Add the Slim Fast powder. Add the sugar. Add coffee last, so that it will not sit on the bottom. Screw the blade (top) on the canister really tight, so it doesn't leak. Now, shhhake it! shake shake shake! Ok, now blend it until it you hear a quieter, smoother sound that lets you know the ice isn't chunky anymore. If you're using a magic bullet, you can drink right from the "glass" that you made it with! Or, you can pour the beverage in a cup.

I like to put my Starbuck's cups in the dishwasher and reuse them, so I will make coffee in them sometimes, because it's like I went and bought it. We're all kids inside and presentation is everything, right ;)

Serving Size: makes 1, 16oz blended iced coffee/frappe
